Ramen Shifu

In 2022, I had the pleasure of collaborating with the Barcelona-based restaurant chain Ramen Shifu to create this anime-inspired short film, which tells a charming love story set in one of their restaurants. The animation was released on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, to celebrate the occasion in a unique and memorable way.

This playful short is a light-hearted homage to the world of Japanese food anime, a genre in its own right, beloved by fans for its blend of humor, emotion, and culinary passion.

Taking on the full creative process was a rewarding challenge, as I was responsible for every phase of the project, from character and background design to animatics, styleframes, and final animation. Despite the workload, the team and I were thrilled with the final result, and the short received a very positive response from audiences.
