Pineapple Videogame

Between 2023 and 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Dani and Beto, the founders of Patrones y Escondites (an independent video game studio) on the development of their latest game, Pineapple.

Pineapple tells the story, from a first-person perspective, of a high school student who, after experiencing bullying, decides to seek revenge in a hilariously creative way. It’s a game that entertains while also delivering a meaningful message, ending with a powerful reflection on bullying and its consequences.

This was a major challenge for me, as I was responsible for the entire visual design and all the animations that bring the game to life. I chose a playful, sketch-like illustration style inspired by the doodles I used to draw in my school notebooks. The color palette was also a key element, carefully selected to give the game a bold and visually striking personality.
